If I were good enough at photoshop, I'd make you a picture of a sea gull with one wing and one small human arm to show you that the sea gull was just fine.
But I'm not very good at photoshop, so you'll have to keep thinking of the painful death that poor, innocent creature suffered right after its wing was horribly torn from its body.
