catclock

Somebody please tell me how my cat knows its 5:30 a.m. every single morning. Apparently 5:30 is "breakfast time" and there is no end to the persistence. How does she know its 5:30? And why does it have to be exactly one hour before my alarm clock goes off anyway?

Mine do that too. Thankfully I trained Per to feed them, he has less patience than I do, so they just crawl back into bed with me, snore, purr and digest breakfast.

My puppy used to do that too and hard as it was, I had to suffer through the whining for a couple weeks until she learned that she wasn't going to be fed at 5 am. However, I'm not sure how trainable cats are in that regard... I do hate knowing that I'm not getting all the sleep that I can!
